House is planned for a family of five on a 54' by 89' plot of land on Madurai's Alagarkovil Road. Synthesize of elements with traditional inspiration with a contemporary approach. Open plan design prioritizing the blend of private and semipublic spaces while also maintaining a sense of control.

The client's requirement is to design a home with five bedrooms. The master bedroom provides a visual connect to other spaces. Ground floor is an open layout with family area with an aspect of temple-inspired design. The dance studio and office are accessible from the first floor's grand entrance. On the second level, a private garden connects the master bedroom and the daughter bedroom with the spectacular view of yanaimalai(Hill) view.

For brick masonry, porotherm is utilized, which maximizes cost savings while also assisting in heat reduction. The residence exudes a unique character through its chettinad tones. central courtyard with traditional columns, The combination of yellow marble from jaisalmer, pink marble from Jaipur, white marble from Makrana, teak wood, and exposed brick, which helps in creating a chettinad house, yet refined ambiance. Custom-designed false ceiling with teak wood mat and clothing in bedroom false ceiling and Bhavani Jamakkalam in wardrobes are the unique feature of the house.
